William E. Dow

Chairman, Director
Mr. Dow worked for 33 years as an Actuary for Aetna Life & Casualty Co. During his career, he was an Executive Officer, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Dow holds a BA degree in Mathematics from Middlebury College. He has served on the board since 1992 and as Chairman since 2005. Mr. Dow serves on the Audit and Compensation Committees.

Robert J. Lloyd

President and CEO, Director
Mr. Lloyd received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1970, served as an officer in the United States Army from 1970 to 1974, received his Juris Doctor in 1977 and LLM (Taxation) from Boston University in 1980. Mr. Lloyd practiced law with the New Hampshire firm of Cleveland, Waters & Bass, P.A. as an attorney (1977), partner (1981) and managing partner (1991-1995). Mr. Lloyd was an adjunct professor of corporate taxation at Franklin Pierce Law Center (1980-1985). Mr. Lloyd's representation of clients primarily involved providing advice to active boards of directors regarding how to properly perform their duties and corporate business and taxation planning. Mr. Lloyd was a partner with the firm of Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP from February 2002 until April 2006. Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP has offices in Boston, Massachusetts, Providence, Rhode Island and Concord, New Hampshire. Since 2006, Mr. Lloyd has been the President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of Brazilian Resources, Inc.

Daniel R. Titcomb

Director
Mr. Titcomb has nearly 20 years of executive, acquisition, project management, and corporate development and finance experience in the Brazilian natural resources and infrastructure development industries. He is one of the founders of Brazilian Resources, Inc. and held the President and CEO position until early 2006. Mr. Titcomb is also one of the founders and a Director of Jaguar Mining Inc. Until December 2011, he served as President and CEO of Jaguar. Mr. Titcomb holds B.S. degrees in industrial engineering and business management from Keene State College.

Jeffrey C. Kirchhoff

Corporate Secretary
Mr. Kirchhoff has over 15 years of experience in the securities, insurance and venture capital communities. He has been a Director since 1992 and joined the management team in 1994 where he served as Chief Financial Officer until 2011. Mr. Kirchhoff was instrumental in helping to raise the company's seed capital. Mr. Kirchhoff majored in economics at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire and finance and accounting at the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Business, Madison, Wisconsin.

Michael Seaward

Director
Mr. Seaward has over 30 years of field and corporate experience ranging from field geologist to general manager of one of the largest open pit gold mines in the world. He was previously Executive Vice President of Minera Rayrock Inc. Mr. Seaward is currently President of Minconsult International Y Asociados S.A., a mining consultant headquartered in San Jose, Costa Rica. He is also a Director of Polaris Energy Corporation. Mr Seaward has served on the board since 1996 and serves on the Audit and Compensation Committees.

Marcus Berto

Director
Mr. Berto has extensive experience in the mining sector. As the Managing Director of Bucyrus Brazil, he played an important role in the turn around of their Brazilian focused operations. He was previously the Senior Vice President of the Southern Hemisphere for Bucyrus until its sale to Caterpillar in 2011. Mr. Berto has his MBA from Fundacao Dom Cabral, and his BA from Pontifica Universida de Catolica.

Thomas McNamara

Vice President, Engineering and Development
Mr. McNamara was appointed Vice President, Engineering and Development in November 2010. Mr. McNamara is also currently President and Principal Mining Engineer of TM Consulting Inc. and was Vice President of RMB Resources, Inc. from 2004 to 2008. Mr. McNamara has 33 years of mining engineering work experience, which includes mine management and engineering positions at three large open pit copper mines, financial analysis and project evaluation for Cyprus Minerals and P.T. Freeport Indonesia, engineering consulting work on numerous international mining projects and project financing with Rand Merchant Bank. Mr. McNamara received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Robert C. Zwerneman

Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations
Mr. Zwerneman was appointed Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations in June 2011. Before joining Brazilian Resources, Mr. Zwerneman served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Director of Investor Relations for Jaguar from 2006 to 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Zwerneman served as Director of Investor Relations at Global Power Equipment Group Inc. from 2001 to 2006 and has spent most of his professional career in corporate development and investor relations roles in the mining business. Mr. Zwerneman is a professional commodity economist by training and earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Texas A&M University.
